I am currently working together with NIAD Art Center conducting human centered research and developing new tools that aid disabled artists in their pursuit of creative expression. A continuation of my Masters Thesis work “Designing with Disability: New Tools for Disabled Artists.”

FREELANCE DESIGNER
AUX AGENCY / San Francisco, CA / 2009
Helped facilitate an ideation workshop for an AUX client with the aim of translating research and ideating new consumer electronics concepts for emerging markets and future development. As part of my role I led a small team made up of individuals from within various disciplines through brainstorming activities, concept sketching, storyboarding, and presentations. The workshop was a great success and the volume and quality of the concepts produced during the event were well received.

FREELANCE DESIGNER
IDEO / San Francisco, CA / 2008–2009
I worked together with IDEO to help build a research plan with the goal of identifying opportunities that might help design a new strategy for the future of CCA. I developed design research probes and conducted interviews with participants. As team leader I worked with the team designing and developing brainstorming exercises and supporting prototypes for an IDEO-driven event involving 150+ participants.
